What You Need to Know

DIY Installation

Boundary wire should be buried approximately 4–6 inches underground.
When crossing driveways, wire should be buried below the surface as appropriate for the material and conditions, and additional equipment may be needed for proper installation.
In certain areas (such as woods or locations without foot traffic), the wire may be laid on top of the ground if necessary.

Our patented digital SafeLink FM technology protects against false activation caused by stray radio signals. FM technology is less prone to interference than other brands' AM systems, making DogWatch the most secure hidden fence available.

FastReact®

DogWatch has the fastest reaction time in the industry. If your dog runs at the boundary, the receiver reacts with the warning signal before he reaches the wire, not while he is traveling over it.

Longest Battery Life

Our invisible fence was installed shortly after we ordered it and and we received training immediately after the installation and then part two of the training a week later. I had a few questions which I emailed and the next day I received a phone call back with very helpful answers to my questions. It has only been a couple of weeks, but this invisible fence has been a game changer fit us! We’re so impressed with the product and the great service from Ed and Marie at DogWatch Cape Cod.

Our dog is a 3-year-old rescue, and is very high energy with a very strong prey drive! When we adopted her, we installed 4-foot chain link fence around our whole property so that she could run free in our yard. That kept her contained for ~1.5 years, but then she discovered that she could jump over or squeeze under the fence whenever she saw a rabbit or squirrel on the other side… so we were back to keeping her inside most of the day, and only taking her out on the leash.

We heard that invisible fences worked well for 99% of dogs, but we were sure we would be in the 1% 😂 But we went ahead and inquired with DogWatch anyway. Marie spent 20 min on the phone with me explaining the system on our first call, and immediately answered our additional questions in the following days. Within two weeks of placing the order for a ProFence, we had our fence installed, and our training from Ed. Our dog learned the boundaries and took to the new system immediately, and she is already back to being out and running free on our property. She is so happy to have her freedom again, and we are happy that she can be outside as much as she likes (and that we don’t have to worry about her sneaking out through an open door).

DogWatch just installed an underground hidden fence (the ProFence model) on my property for a golden retriever who loves to hop the fence and take himself on a walkabout. The options were clearly described, the scheduling was seamless, and the installation went smoothly. Clear instructions were provided on how to use the system with back-up information available in writing and on the web.
