Owner, Ed Robbins, shares his home with his loving wife Jamie, their two children, Colby and Madden, and their loyal German Shepherd, Ollie. Ed and his family are outdoor enthusiasts who love camping, boating, hiking, skiing, running, and spending quality time with Ollie. Prior to his involvement with DogWatch®, Ed spent over two decades in the telecommunications industry.

Ed's journey with DogWatch® began in the summer of 2001, during a shift in his career path. That summer, he installed underground pet fences for the former owners of the DogWatch® Dealership, which provided him with an in-depth understanding of the business. His own dog, Ollie, has been a user of DogWatch® fence throughout his life and was introduced to the BigLeash when he was about a year old. The BigLeash proved to be a tremendous help in managing Ollie's extreme tail-chasing habit.

Fast forward a few years, while making a routine battery purchase, Ed discovered that the owners of DogWatch® were planning to retire. They offered him the chance to step in and take the reins of the business – an offer he happily accepted! For Ed, there's no job more rewarding than running a business that focuses on keeping pets safe in their yards and providing pet parents with peace of mind. Ed and his team are committed to treating every DogWatch® hidden pet fence with utmost care because they understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family.
